Hi,

As a beginner, what are the specs for a beginner's mouthpiece on a student sax?

I mean, e.g. does it have a certain size, length, bore, etc.??

If I were to 'upgrade' to another mouthpiece, what would I have to look for??

Thanks in advance,

im a beginner too and the yamaha 4c works great when you are starting to play sax, but every player got his own choices

I used whatever came with the sax for the first few years. If you don't have one, go to a reputable music store that sells a lot of saxophones and ask them to try some beginner mouthpieces, see what you like.
